One day I plan to take a vacation that includes eating my way through Austin’s foodie scene. I have yet to try some really awesome places simply because of time; however, I was able to try this food truck after dinner at Z’Tejas. I have been to Voodoo Donuts in Portland OR so I am no stranger to a gourmet doughnut. Gourdoughs did not disappoint. I order the Flying Pig and it was sheer donut heaven. I really enjoyed the fact that they made the donut fresh so the dough was warm and soft. The bacon was crispy and provided a very good salty balance to the sweet maple syrup icing on top. It made having the salmon at dinner very worth it.
